The legendary reigning kings of Cuban music, Orchestra Los Van Van are visiting Japan for the first time in 13 years!

Once again this year, the pulse of the world will resonate across Nokonoshima!

It’s not just a festival to watch! It’s a world beat festival where the real fun comes from joining in!

When you think of summer in Fukuoka, the “Isla de Salsa” (Salsa Island) festival is a must!
But when we say “salsa,” we’re not talking about the dance or music! The name comes from “salsa,” the sauce made by mixing various ingredients.

This festival is a cultural exchange event where you can enjoy the connections and excitement born from that "mingling."
It’s a “salsa-like” space where artists and participants from around the world and diverse cultures come together.“Isla de Salsa” is a participatory festival where every guest becomes a “contributor—a unique spice.” You are not just a spectator, but a creator building the event alongside everyone else.

The venue is Nokonoshima, just a 10-minute ferry ride from Fukuoka City.
