The hugely popular jazz festival “Nakasu Jazz (NAKASU JAZZ) 2026” is back this year! This is a must-see event where jazz performances by artists active both in Japan and abroad will once again enliven the vibrant nights of Nakasu!

In the past, Nakasu was brimming with vitality, and energy overflowed along with the music…

Let’s bring that vitality back! With the cooperation of various organizations, companies, and individuals who shared this vision, “Nakasu Jazz (NAKASU JAZZ)” was launched and has since grown into one of Western Japan’s largest and nationally renowned jazz festivals, now attracting 100,000 visitors annually. It is one of the must-see events of autumn in Hakata.

In 2026, the event will be held on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13!

This year, on September 12 (Saturday) and September 13 (Sunday), a host of jazz singers and artists, including renowned performers active both in Japan and abroad, will gather to enliven the vibrant nights of Nakasu, Kyushu’s most bustling entertainment district, with live jazz performances.

The diverse lineup across various stages, ranging from jazz standards to the latest in the jazz scene, is sure to appeal to audiences of all ages, and admission is free for all events!
