‘TENCHIKA REMIX’ – 50th Anniversary Night Festival of Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall

Set against the backdrop of Tenjin Underground Shopping Centre’s 50th anniversary, three days where people, music and culture come together! Featuring live performances, DJs, talks and a market. Celebrate 50 years of memories, look forward to new encounters, and let the next chapter of this neighbourhood’s story begin tonight.

To mark the 50th anniversary of Tenjin Underground Shopping Centre this year, we are co-organising ‘TENCHIKA REMIX’ with Fukuoka Underground Shopping Centre Development Co., Ltd., an event that makes use of the underground shopping centre’s spaces at night. We will transform sections of the underground passageways—which are normally used as thoroughfares—into special event spaces, and present a programme of events unique to this 50th-anniversary celebration.

Set against the backdrop of Tenjin Underground Shopping Centre’s 50th anniversary, these three days will see a blend of people, music and culture, offering music events in collaboration with Music Month and talk sessions reflecting on the past 50 years!

Tenjin Underground Shopping Centre: East 3rd Street Passage, East 4th Street Passage, 8th Street Square, 10th Street Square
*In the East 3rd and 4th Street Passages, we will create a special atmosphere unique to the underground shopping centre at night, whilst ensuring thorough safety measures are in place.

*In accordance with the Fukuoka Prefecture Ordinance on the Healthy Development of Young People, persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend after 11 pm.
