The unique wines of Kyushu come together in front of JR Hakata Station!

Enjoy regional Japanese wines and converse with the vintners who make them at the Kyushu Wine Festa in JR Hakata City, taking place again this year.

Each day of the festival brings a new selection of wineries, each with their own unique products, some of which will be offered exclusively at this event. Wine-friendly dishes and small snacks will be available as well, making this event a must-go for oenophiles! 

Highlights

・Chat with the wine makers directly
Learn about each wine’s unique point and how they are made from the vintners directly. Tastings and purchases are also both available. Knowing the story behind each wine adds another layer to the enjoyment. 

・Kyushu’s wineries unite
From Fukuoka to Kagoshima, 17 different wineries each with their own characteristics will be attending the event. Some of the wine makers are day-exclusive, making repeat visits worthwhile! 

・Enjoy your wine with a bite to eat
Snacks and other regional specialties will be available as well, making it possible to enjoy a Kyushu wine and cuisine pairing. 

15th anniversary design wine glass and drink ticket set

This year marks the 15th year since the opening of JR Hakata City and the opening of all of the Kyushu Shinkansen lines, and to commemorate it a special wine glass was commissioned. This special item can be purchased together with a drink ticket set that can be used at the event.
