Sento Day: Experience Japanese Bathhouse Culture with the Fragrance of Lavender

Sento are traditional Japanese public bathhouses that have long been cherished as places to relax and relax and escape the stresses of everyday life. In Japan, 10 October is known as Sento Day, as the numbers "1010" can be read as sento in a popular Japanese wordplay.

To mark the occasion, eight public bathhouses in Fukuoka City will fill their baths with fragrant lavender from Kamifurano, Hokkaido, in their baths, creating a special bathing experience filled with a refreshing aroma.
