Candlelight: Timeless Classical Masterpieces at Ohori Park Noh Theater

Experience an unforgettable evening of music and candlelight at Ohori Park Noh Theater.

Part of the globally popular Candlelight concert series, this special performance invites audiences to enjoy beloved classical masterpieces in a magical setting illuminated by thousands of candles. The combination of candlelight and live string music creates a magical atmosphere.

Built in the traditional Japanese architectural style using Japanese cypress, Ohori Park Noh Theater is an authentic performance space normally used for Noh and Kyogen, traditional Japanese theatre forms that range from elegant masked dramas to light-hearted comic performances. The harmony between this uniquely Japanese setting and the rich sound of Western string instruments offers an experience that can only be enjoyed here.

The programme features a selection of timeless classical masterpieces. The concert will be performed by Ensemble Cerezo, a Fukuoka-based string quartet. Spend a memorable evening surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight.
