Marine World
This beautiful, chalky, shell-shaped aquarium is home to twenty thousand marine creatures from 450 species. You can take a close look at the divers feeding more than 20 kinds of fishes including 150 sharks in one of the world’s largest fish tanks. The all-weather marine theater facing Hakata Bay hosts dolphin and sea lion shows. Get up close, feed the animals and get our unique behind-the-scenes experience. Only available here.
Marine Theater (Show Pool)
The popular dolphin show is held everyday at this all-weather theater with a seating capacity of 1465. Visitors can enjoy watching the dolphins jump up amazingly high and go through the hoops, or the humorous performance of sea lions with the blue sea of Hakata Bay in the background.
At “Marine World Uminonakamichi”, “jaj.jp”-multilingual audio guidance is provided for free of use.
Visitors may use smartphones or tablets to be connected to the service without connecting to internet or downloading of App.
