“Meiji Park,” an oasis where you can walk in the sky beside Hakata Station, opens on August 7!.

Supervised by world-renowned architect Sou Fujimoto, the park features five “gardens” and lush greenery, with a “3D Garden Skywalk” winding through the grounds and reaching a maximum height of approximately 10 meters. It also features “UNTITLED,” the first public art piece by Fukuoka-born artist KYNE.

The park is home to seven establishments, primarily local Fukuoka restaurants, including “TOTOPA,” an urban spa that has won the Sauna Shuran award and is making its Kyushu debut and “400℃ PIZZA Piu,” a branch of the restaurant ranked No. 1 in Japan in the Tabelog pizza category. With its location right next to Hakata Station, it’s the perfect spot to refresh yourself between sightseeing trips.
